Reward based positive reinforcement training

We are a reward based, positive reinforcement training facility and use motivational methods only. We never use any harsh training methods, interactive or positive punishment training aids such as choke chains, shock collars and water pistols and advise against the use of these methods.

Puppy School

For puppies less than 18 weeks old. This course is essential to giving your puppy the best start and laying the foundation for a loving, lasting relationship.

We never use any harsh training methods, interactive or positive punishment training aids such as choke chains, shock collars and water pistols and advise against the use of these methods.

Always be informed of the type of training methods used by a trainer and ask to view a class if unsure.

Unfortunately these dated methods are still being practiced by many ‘trainers’ that have not updated their skills following scientific studies that prove reward based training is the way to go.

Always investigate trainer's qualifications and the certification body before commencing any dog training.

About our trainers

It is not possible to become a skilled dog trainer/handler by studying a short, theory based or online course. Dog training is a skill that is learned through observation, practical handling and a good knowledge of different breed types and learning theory.

All of our classes are run by highly qualified trainers who are continually updating their skills by attending seminars held by world renowned industry leaders in their field and attending industry standard colleges such as COAPE (Centre of Applied Pet Ethology) in the UK to gain their qualifications.
